The PBYC arranges many off-the-water social get-togethers and activities for members to attend with their families and friends
Presentation Dinners
Each year the Club organises Presentation dinners or functions for all members, their families and friends.
These provide extra occasions for members to get to know one another, especially since we do not have our own club house in which to meet.
At these gatherings prizes for the races and other awards are presented, competitions held, stories are told and announcements about important matters concerning the Club are made.
Dates for these up-coming events are published on the Home Page. It is essential that members inform the Social Secretary of attendance as soon as possible so that we can cater for the appropriate numbers.
Annual General Meeting
This is held in July each year and all members are urged to attend. The PBYC Committee is elected on this occasion and then meets regularly to ensure that the administration of the Club is kept on a sound organisational and financial footing.
Other Events
Other social activities are arranged from time to time for the enjoyment of Club members, their families and friends, including BBQ’s and Golf Days.
