The Palm Beach Yacht Club was established in 1985 to promote friendly sailing in all the races it conducts and activities it supports.

“The objective of the Club shall be to foster, encourage and engage in the sport of sailing”

If you enjoy Sailing, Cruising, Racing or just boating on Pittwater, you should think about joining the Palm Beach Yacht Club.

At Palm Beach Yacht Club you can sail, cruise or race with friends on beautiful Pittwater & the surrounding waterways with year round on-water activities.

In addition, you have access to shared Club Casual Moorings in three different locations.

All this for only $330 pa for full family Boat Owner Membership or $70 pa for individual Crew (non-boat owning) Membership.

This also includes complimentary membership of Club Palm Beach.

Our smaller fleet sizes are ideal for less experienced sailors to safely get in to Yacht Racing and learn more about their boat with minimal stress.

UPDATE ON ACTIVITIES – MAY 2026

And now our Winter Series is underway.

Please note the change of date for this month to Sunday 24th May for the first of our combined events with our friends at Avalon Sailing Club.

Also note that the June event was wrongly noted as 14th. It is in fact the 21st June for the Great Wackers Race.

Plans are currently underway to organise a Friday evening gathering in June for a catch up and to present the Series Trophies for 2025-26.

Looking at 19th of June as a likely date so mark your calenders.

Let’s get out there and enjoy ourselves.

As we transition to the 2025-26 Season, all yachts will require a new Safety Audit.

Please download the form and check all the items yourself in preparation.

Jim will be available from late September to undertake the physical inspection.

If you have completed an Audit with another Club, then a copy of that form will be sufficient (and preferred).
